Immerse yourself in the world of fictional creatures, epic battles and enchanted locations as we present the unforgettable musical tracks from some of the most iconic fantasy films. Enjoy orchestra suites from the American Netflix Drama Series GAME OF THRONES and HOUSE OF DRAGON, both soundtracks composed by Ramin Djawadi.
The program also includes symphonic suites from all three parts of THE LORD OF THE RINGS and THE HOBBITS, music from all the HARRY POTTER movies and from THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. We hear an extended suite from AVATAR by James Horner, Randy Edelman’s memorable score of DRAGONHEART and John Powells music to the computer animated action fantasy film HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON.
The concert features genius John Williams with his iconic scores of E.T. – THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL and HOOK (Flight to Neverland), a portion of adventure/horror with THE MUMMY-movies (Music by Jerry Goldsmith and Alan Silvestri), a trip to Jack Sparrows adventures in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN and many others.
