TV AND STREAMING SERIES IN CONCERT

A musical journey through over six decades with themes and songs we all know and love from our living rooms – arranged for large orchestra. Due to the mostly short pieces of music, we created medleys that are divided into respective genres and decades – American TV Classics, Soap Operas, The ’80s, ’90s & Sitcoms, Toons, British TV and Streaming Series.

Starting with the American TV Classics, we visit the Wild West and the Cartwright family as the timeless BONANZA theme envelops the concert hall. Jazzy undertones and urban rhythms lead us to the gritty streets of New York City with the legendary KOJAK theme and to the STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO, capturing the heart and soul of the investigative duo of veteran detective Mike Stone and his young protégé.

After a short visit at Charles Townsend Detective Agency and his three angels – CHARLIE’S ANGELS, we move into the world of soap operas. DALLAS emerges with its iconic melody, conjuring images of oil tycoons and familial drama that gripped a whole generation. DYNASTY follows suit, while the haunting allure of FALCON CREST theme brings vineyard secrets and power struggles to life once more.

The ’80s brought a remarkable shift in the style and content of television comedies. Sitcoms of this era began to explore more complex and relatable characters. The timeless classic THE GOLDEN GIRLS and CHEERS started in the early and mid ’80s, cherished by fans for its humor, relatable strong characters, and its ability to address important social issues with grace and humor. For over a decade (and until today), MURDER SHE WROTE captivates audiences with its intriguing blend of crime, mystery, and a dash of small-town charm. At the center of it all was the indomitable Angela Lansbury, whose portrayal of Jessica Fletcher, an amateur sleuth and mystery novelist, became iconic.

Away from Cabot Cove and killer scenes into the entertaining world of Toons. We visit weird families from the Stone Age and the present day – THE FLINTSTONES and THE SIMPSONS. Henry Mancini introduces THE PINK PANTHER with probably the most popular saxophone-theme ever.

In the 90’s the Frank Sinatra hit “Love and Marriage” did serve as the opening song of MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, the Rembrandts became world famous with their opening-song for FRIENDS, and we remember the so typical synth sounds of the science fiction drama television series THE X-FILES.

However, opening themes became more orchestral again with the rise of streaming portals. On the one hand with the iconic British series DOWNTON ABBEY, THE CROWN and BRIDGERTON, but also with what is probably the most popular streaming series to date – the fantasy sequel GAME OF THRONES and it’s prequel HOUSE OF DRAGON.

After a musical testimony about the fact that power correlates with money, sex, and influence – we visit the (vice-)president of the US in HOUSE OF CARDS and the media-mogul Logan Roy and his family in SUCCESSION – we end up where we started more than 60 years ago – in the Wild West, a ranching family and patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) in YELLOWSTONE. A story of betrayal, deception and murder between a major cattle ranch, a Native reservation and land developers from that area – with the incredible powerful soundtrack of Brian Tyler.
